April 28, 1989, a very adorable baby boy was born; a true Caviteno,
who was born and raised in Dasmarinas, Cavite. His parents, Julie and
Apolinario Wong, together with his sister, were very blessed because
of the gift, their “Balong” as they call him, they received. They are
just four in the family, and he is the youngest. As he turns into a
very playful kid people can see that he would become a really
independent man in the future because at the age of 6 he can already
go home alone from school. As he reaches his high school in Colegio
San Juan de Letran in Manila, his potential as an athlete was much
observed. He became a member of their varsity basketball team, and at
the same time the school’s varsity track and field team. Becoming one
of the best players in the team, he was called to be part of different
basketball teams that played in different basketball leagues like NCAA
and the basketball team during the Palarong Pambansa 2007. He was also
part of the mythical 5 in one of the teams he was once in.
Now, he is an already grown up man studying in the University of the
Philippines, Diliman. He is in the College of Human Kinetics taking up
a major in Bachelor of Sports Science. He was part of the varsity
volleyball team of the UP Fighting Maroons last season, and at the
same time he also competed, after a long time, with the varsity track
and field team where he played in the category of high jump. Now, he
is part of the UP Fighting Maroons basketball team, and also part of
the PBA D-League’s Junior Powerade team all at the same time. Being a
very athletic person, he achieved his goals. He wants to be a
successful conditioning coach in the future and a basketball coach
someday. Although this man is focusing on his trainings to be a very
good athlete he always sees to it that his studies will not suffer. He
is a time manager, who can balance his studies and trainings at the
same. He can do all of these because of his dedication and passion in
everything that he does.
This man is very independent, time manager, a loving son and brother,
a friend, to everyone. This is Julius Paul Tacadena Wong, a man of
hard work and dedication in everything that he does.
